Sit back and peep some fall leaves with this gorgeous spritz that layers the colors and flavors of the season. Pum'kin wine, apple whiskey, a touch of caramel and a splash of hard cider harmonize in a fizzy, refreshing drink garnished with apples, pears and a cinnamon stick. 

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce apple-flavored whiskey
  • 1/2 teaspoon caramel syrup
  • 1/2 cup Duplin Pum'kin red wine
  • Hard sparkling cider
  • Thin slices of fresh apple and pear
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Directions:

  1. Pour whiskey and caramel syrup into a wine glass.
  2. Fill the glass with ice.
  3. Add enough wine to fill the glass halfway.
  4. Add enough hard sparkling cider to fill the giass.
  5. Garnish with an apple slice, a pear slice and a cinnamon stick.
  6. Makes 1 serving.
