Red Wine Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:

• 6 cups of whole milk
• ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 2½ cups of chocolate chips
• 1 teaspoon of Kosher Salt
• 1 bottle of your favorite Duplin red wine
• Marshmallows, chocolate shavings, and candy canes for garnish

Directions:

1. Pour milk into a medium saucepan set over medium-heat. When milks in warm, whisk in cocoa until well combined. Remove pan from heat and stir in chocolate chips. Keep stirring gently until chocolate is melted.
2. Return mixture to heat and salt and red wine. Stir until just heated.
3. Pour into warm mugs. Garnish as desired. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
